AWNING WARRANTY
LIMITED WARRANTY
MAJESTIC AWNING HEREBY WARRANTS, TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER ONLY, THAT ITS PRODUCT WILL BE FREE FROM DEFECTS IN MATERIALS AND WORKMANSHIP FOR THE PERIODS STATED BELOW:
The warranty coverage period on the fabric is 10 years from the original purchase date. Majestic Awning will provide replacement fabric at no cost during years one through eight; at the then-current selling price less a 30% discount during the ninth year; and less a 15% discount during the tenth year. This warranty does not cover normal care and cleaning; damage from misuse or abuse; or costs associated with replacement of the fabric, including labor and installation.
All parts of the mechanical hardware are covered against defects or breakage for 10 years from the date of installation while being used under normal conditions. Majestic awning will replace any defective mechanical hardware during the period at no charge, except for the cost of replacement labor involved after the 1st year.
Somfy offers end product suppliers a 5-year warranty on all motors and controls. Specifically, Somfy warrants its motors and controls to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal and proper use for a period of 5 years commencing with the date stamped on each product. If the Somfy product fails within this 5-year period, we will repair or replace it free of charge through Majestic Awning. Majestic Awning will charge the cost of replacement labor starting from the 13th month from the date of installation.
All electronic equipment (sun and wind sensor, remotes, relays, etc.) for the period of 1 year, at no charge.
NOTE: CUSTOMERS WILL NEED TO SHOW PROOF OF PURCHASE FROM MAJESTIC AWNING FOR ALL WARRANTIES. ALL PRODUCTS ARE COVERED UNDER NORMAL USE, BUT MAJESTIC AWNING IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGE INCURRED DURING FIRE, WIND, RAIN, OR ANY OTHER ACTS OF NATURE. RUST OR SALT CORROSION ARE NOT COVERED.
